It is a perfect base for trips within Belgium and abroad.
By car Leuven is situated at the junction of two major European motorways.
By train Amsterdam, Paris, London and Cologne are only about three hours away.

There are frequent international flights from Brussels airport, and low-cost flights from Brussels South (Charleroi) airport.

Leuven is a small student town, with everything within walking distance, ie within 10 minutes from the center : eg from the center to the railway station situated on the ring road.

Important : parking in Leuven can be difficult and is actively discouraged
by the authorities. We made reservations for 50 parking places in the city. These will be allocated after registration on a first come first served base.
